On Saturday, August 17th, the Croton Yacht Club in combination with the Hudson River Fisherman’s Association, hosted a fishing contest for Wounded Warrior Veterans and family members. The event was attended by some 20 Veterans and almost all caught fish. Some traveled great distances from as far as Delaware and New Jersey. Each Veteran was presented with a nice new rod & reel combination. As a token of their appreciation the Veterans presented the yacht club with a signed Wounded Warrior flag.
