OCTOBER IS RESPECT LIFE MONTH

Welcome to The New Everything Croton, a collection of all things Croton--our history, our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools, our houses of worship--in short, EVERYTHING CROTON.

AT HOLY NAME OF MARY---There will be a special Respect Life collection at the October 12th & 13th Masses. Donations will be split between Birthright of Peekskill and St. Christopher’s Inn in Garrison. Birthright supports mothers to-be with supplies and financial help needed to care for their new babies on the way.   St. Christopher’s Inn in Graymoor in Garrison offers support and holds retreats for men suffering from substance abuse issues.  This year we have an anonymous donor who will match 50 cents for every dollar donated up to a thousand dollars, so if we raise $2000 or more, the donor will happily contribute $1000. Please be as generous as you can. To close Respect for Life month we will say a prayer written by the late and great Judy Anderson, praying for respect for life at all stages, the last weekend of October at all the masses.
