UPPER VILLAGE WALKING TOURS

Village Historian Marc Cheshire will be leading walking tours of the Upper Village on Saturday, October 19 at 10:00 a.m. and Sunday, October 27 at 1:00 p.m. Learn about the history of buildings and streets in the heart of the village. Discover little treasures hiding in plain sight and lament what no longer exists—like the Quaker Meeting House and Cemetery that was once located on Grand Street.

The walking tours will last approximately 1.5 to 2 hours; the route is 1.3 miles and includes stairs. The tours are free and open to village and non-village residents but advance registration is required. Sign up on the village website: https://www.crotononhudson-ny.gov/freeprograms
