Nasir Ahmad Tawhedi the 27-year-old Afghan national who is being charged with planning a terror attack on the United States, reportedly worked for the CIA while in Afghanistan.

NBC News reported the shocking tie, further explaining that Tawhedi worked as a security guard for the agency, not as an informant. He was arrested in Oklahoma on Monday and stands accused of planning a radical ISIS-inspired terror attack to allegedly be carried out on Election Day, as Americans gather to choose the next president.

According to the report, it is unclear whether Tawhedi was radicalized before or after coming to the United States.
